Welcome!
My name is TJ of TJB Studios. I am a Creative – I use multiple disciplines, e.g. photography, design, cinematography and audio – with a concentration in photography. My photography covers a broad spectrum of subjects – from commercial to portrait, real estate to nature, and everything in between.
I am a graduate of Owens Community College (Oregon, Ohio), receiving a degree in commercial photography. Following graduation, I had the privilege of assisting Eric Eggly, a commercial photographer; John Williamson, a wedding and commercial photographer; and Ryan Lynch, a commercial cinematographer; as well as working with Eric L of Keepsake Portraits.
Currently, I am working with Ryan Lynch, RL Creative, as an assistant videographer and as the primary photographer. I also work part-time at Owens Community College as a leader of the Owens Outlook student newspaper. In this role, I manage the students’ work on the newspaper and the website. The Outlook is a part of the Owens Media Center where I also record radio broadcasts and work with other types of audio.
Did I mention that I am a musician too? I am a percussionist. I have a real passion for music – no genre is off limits. Before attending Owens, I attended Bowling Green State University where I was on the Drumline and studied Web and Commercial Design as a Visual Communications Technology major.
About my work
If you’re looking for someone with more interactive media experience, I am also very fluent in using social media platforms and keep up with the ever-changing ways of engaging with customers while still meeting the needs of your business.
As a photographer I am comfortable working in various environments. I can set up for a studio style shoot or use natural light. I am adept with working in easy or what some may consider to be difficult situations. My goal is to capture the image(s) that you, as my client, have hired me to achieve, while relying on my professional skills and training to ensure that the end product is exactly what’s envisioned.
One final note
I am always excited with the creative process that goes into creating projects, and am grateful for being able to work with the wonderful people that I do.
I look forward to the creative ventures I will have with you as a client and continuing to maintain those that I have with my current clients.
